Through her life motto „Don’t be afraid ot art“ master cabinetmaker, designer and conceptual artist Nicole Doth points out that everyone defines ART in their own way and that each of these ways is equally valid and legitimate. The mirrored surfaces of Nicole Doth's art objects reflect all facets of the environment - be it an interior, the outdoors or a person looking at themselves in it. They do this free of judgement, entirely in keeping with their original nature. Nicole Doth skilfully moves between the worlds of object design & art. Functional Art. In an additional artistic act, she takes her artworks out of their usual context in order to stage and photograph them in surprising surroundings, such as a gravel pit or stalactite cave.
